Description

The Focus LED Exility is a magnetic track pendant light with a 52mm diameter black aluminium cylinder housing a recessed 12W LED. The pendant clips magnetically onto compatible track rails (sold separately), allowing it to be repositioned along the track length without tools. The 121.8cm drop positions the downward-facing LED 900-1000mm below a typical ceiling height, making it suitable for highlighting specific areas or objects in residential and commercial settings.

Designed for accent and task lighting rather than ambient room illumination, the Focus pendant directs light downward through a recessed optic that reduces glare when viewed from the side. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light suited to galleries, retail displays, kitchen worktops, dining tables and office desks. The magnetic track system allows multiple pendants to be installed on a single track rail, creating linear arrangements over islands, bars or corridor zones. The 48V DC low-voltage operation runs through the track rail itself, with no visible cables between the pendant and the ceiling.

The black aluminium construction provides a clean cylindrical profile with a low-sheen powder coat finish that minimises reflections. The 19.3cm track mounting bar fits standard magnetic track systems and locks the pendant position with a simple quarter-turn once placed. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior locations only — bathrooms, outdoor areas and damp environments require higher IP ratings.

What track system does this pendant fit?

The Focus LED Exility clips onto magnetic track rails using a 19.3cm mounting bar. It requires a 48V DC magnetic track system — the pendant will not work with standard mains-voltage track rails or older track formats. Maytoni magnetic track rails are sold separately.

Can the pendant be moved after installation?

Yes. The magnetic mounting allows the pendant to be repositioned along the track rail by pulling it off and clipping it back on at a different point. No tools are needed to reposition once the track rail is installed.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 12W LED is integrated into the pendant housing and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, which equates to 10-15 years of typical residential use at 5-6 hours per day.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is suitable for dry interior locations only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher for zones around baths and showers, and IP65 for shower enclosures.
