Description

The Focus Exility is a 12W LED track pendant with a 52mm-diameter black aluminium cylinder body, designed to clip onto magnetic track systems running 48V DC power. The integrated LED provides adjustable colour temperature from warm 2700K through to daylight 6000K, controlled via DALI protocol dimming systems that adjust both intensity and CCT remotely.

Designed for accent and task lighting in retail, hospitality, residential kitchens and home offices, the pendant attaches magnetically to compatible track rails without hard-wiring each fitting individually. The track base allows the pendant position to be adjusted along the rail after installation, making it suitable for layouts that change periodically or where lighting needs to be repositioned around furniture, artwork or merchandise. The recessed LED sits within the cylinder aperture to minimise direct glare when viewed from typical ceiling heights of 2.4-3m.

The black powder-coated aluminium finish gives a low-sheen surface that pairs with contemporary and industrial interiors without adding strong colour accents. The cylinder measures 200mm in drop from the magnetic track adaptor to the base of the pendant body, with the track rail itself adding approximately 19mm of ceiling projection depending on the specific track system installed. The 12W output and focused beam make this more suited to directional accent work than general ambient lighting — multiple pendants spaced along a track typically provide better coverage than a single fitting.

DALI control allows the colour temperature to be shifted during the day, running cooler daylight tones during morning work hours and warmer evening tones after dark. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. The 48V DC supply means a compatible magnetic track system with integrated transformer is required — this pendant cannot be wired directly to 230V mains.

What track system does this pendant work with?

The Focus Exility requires a magnetic track system running 48V DC. It attaches magnetically to compatible track rails and cannot be wired directly to 230V mains. Check that your track system supports DALI control and 48V DC output before ordering.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The CCT is controlled via DALI dimming systems. You will need a DALI controller or compatible smart lighting system to adjust the colour temperature between 2700K and 6000K. The pendant does not have onboard manual controls for CCT adjustment.

Can this be used in bathrooms or outdoor covered areas?

No. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only. The pendant is not rated for zones 1, 2 or 3 in bathrooms, nor for outdoor or damp locations.

Can the pendant position be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The magnetic attachment allows the pendant to slide along the track rail after installation, so you can reposition it without re-wiring. This is useful for changing layouts around furniture or artwork.
