Focus 3-Circuit Track Spotlight - Matte Gold

The Focus is a matte gold track spotlight designed for Maytoni's 3-circuit Trinity track system, with a GU10 lampholder rated to 50W and a 360° swivel head that allows the beam to be directed across walls, worktops and display surfaces. The cylindrical aluminium body measures 6cm diameter by 13cm length, mounting onto the track via a clip-in adaptor behind a black plastic housing.

Built for accent and task lighting in retail, hospitality and residential installations, the Focus suits kitchens where individual spotlights need to illuminate worktops or dining tables, living rooms where artwork or shelving requires directed light, and commercial spaces where product displays or feature walls need highlighting. The 3-circuit track system allows multiple spotlights to be grouped on different circuits, giving independent control over zones without needing multiple ceiling roses or pendant drops.

The matte gold finish is a low-sheen brushed aluminium that resists fingerprints and pairs well with warm brass, copper and timber interiors. The compact 23.5cm projection from the track head suits rooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards without the spotlight becoming visually dominant. The GU10 base accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs (sold separately), allowing the colour temperature and beam angle to be chosen to suit the application.

The IP20 rating limits the Focus to dry indoor environments. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or unheated outbuildings. The aluminium body dissipates heat efficiently when paired with LED GU10s, which run cooler than halogen equivalents and reduce the need for ventilation gaps around the track mounting.

What track system does this spotlight fit?

The Focus is designed for Maytoni's 3-circuit Trinity track system. It will not fit standard single-circuit track or other manufacturers' track profiles without an adaptor. Check your existing track type before ordering.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. The spotlight takes a GU10 bulb up to 50W, sold separately. Most users pair it with a 5-7W LED GU10 in 3000K warm white for accent lighting, or 4000K neutral white for task lighting in kitchens.

Can the spotlight be angled?

Yes. The head swivels 360° on the track mount, allowing the beam to be directed across walls, onto worktops, or angled towards artwork and shelving. The swivel joint holds position once set.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is not water-resistant and must only be installed in dry indoor rooms. It cannot be used in bathrooms, outdoor canopies or unheated spaces where condensation may form.
