The Focus is a 12W LED magnetic track spotlight from Maytoni with adjustable colour temperature spanning 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white. The cylindrical black aluminium head clips magnetically onto a compatible 48V DC track system, allowing the spotlight to be positioned anywhere along the track run and repositioned without tools or re-wiring.

Designed for accent lighting in retail, gallery, hospitality and residential spaces, the Focus directs a concentrated beam onto artwork, display shelving, worktops or architectural features. The magnetic attachment means multiple spotlights can be added, removed or moved along the track as room layouts or displays change. The 12W LED output suits accent applications where focused brightness is needed without flooding the entire room with light.

The adjustable colour temperature allows the same fitting to produce warm incandescent-style light at 2700K for evening residential use, neutral daylight at 4000K for task-focused commercial environments, or cool crisp light at 6000K for product display where colour rendering matters. The dimming function works with compatible 48V DC dimmers, giving stepless control from full output down to low-level marker lighting. The black aluminium body measures 19.4cm in height with a 5.2cm diameter cylinder and a low-sheen finish that recedes visually against dark ceilings.

The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — the Focus is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs, or outdoor covered areas. The 48V DC supply voltage requires a compatible magnetic track system and driver unit (sold separately) rather than direct mains connection.

What track system does the Focus require?

The Focus clips magnetically onto a 48V DC magnetic track system. The track, driver unit and power supply are sold separately. It is not compatible with standard mains-voltage track lighting systems.

How do I adjust the colour temperature?

Colour temperature is controlled via a compatible remote control or smart control system paired with the track driver. The spotlight itself does not have physical controls — adjustment happens at the driver or via app/voice control depending on the system specification.

Can the spotlight be angled after installation?

Yes. The head tilts and rotates on the magnetic mounting bracket, allowing the beam to be directed as needed. The magnetic attachment also allows the entire spotlight to be moved along the track to a new position without tools.

Is it suitable for bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces away from direct water contact. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or directly above kitchen sinks and hobs where moisture and steam are present.
