Description

The Fluxon is an 830mm linear island suspension light built around a polished chrome rectangular frame, holding six E14 bulb fittings surrounded by tiered crystal prisms arranged in vertical drops. The crystals are cut glass, secured to the metal frame in tiers that step down from a short upper row to longer vertical drops at the base, creating a waterfall silhouette when viewed from the side.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters, the 830mm length suits surfaces between 1.6m and 2.4m wide. The six bulbs provide spread illumination across the length of the fixture rather than concentrated at a single point, reducing shadowing on worksurfaces below. The suspension cables are adjustable on installation, allowing the fitting to be set 700-900mm above a countertop or table depending on ceiling height and the intended use of the space beneath.

The polished chrome frame reflects both natural daylight and the light from the bulbs, bouncing it through the crystal prisms to produce refracted highlights on surrounding walls and ceilings. The crystal tiers are fixed rather than suspended on chains, giving the fitting structural rigidity and minimising movement once installed.
