Description
The Flux is a 1200mm linear wall light with an integrated 32W LED strip running the length of a white powder-coated metal housing. The LED emits 3000K warm white light from a recessed channel along the underside of the fitting, casting an even wash of downlight across the wall surface below. The housing measures 95mm projection from the wall, forming a shallow profile that sits close to the surface.
Designed for hallways, staircases, feature walls and residential corridors where continuous linear light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Flux provides even illumination across 1.2m of wall length. The dimmable LED allows output to be adjusted from full brightness down to a low ambient level, controlled via a compatible wall dimmer. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to indoor dry locations away from bathrooms and direct moisture exposure.
The white powder-coated metal finish provides a clean, minimalist appearance that suits contemporary interiors where visible fittings are kept simple. The linear form works well in sequences — multiple Flux fittings can be installed end-to-end or stacked vertically to create continuous bands of light across longer wall runs. The integrated LED has a rated lifespan of approximately 30,000 hours at 3000K, removing the need for bulb replacement over typical residential use.
Manufactured by Ideal Lux in Italy, the Flux carries a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and LED failure. The fitting weighs approximately 2.5kg and mounts to standard wall plates via rear fixing points concealed behind the housing. The LED driver is integrated within the housing, requiring only mains connection during installation.

Frequently Asked
Is the Flux dimmable?
Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED wall dimmer. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — check with the manufacturer or contact us before pairing to confirm.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating limits the Flux to indoor dry locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher ratings for zones 1 and 2. The Flux is suitable for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and corridors away from direct moisture.
Can multiple Flux fittings be installed end-to-end?
Yes. The 1200mm length and linear form allow multiple Flux fittings to be installed in sequence along a wall to create continuous bands of light. Each fitting requires its own mains connection — they are not linkable via cable.
What colour temperature is the LED?
The integrated LED emits 3000K warm white light. This is a fixed colour temperature — the Flux does not offer tuneable white or colour-changing capability.
