Description
The Flara is a 75cm linear LED wall light built from extruded aluminium with a white powder-coated finish and an integrated 30W LED strip emitting 4000K cool white light. The rectangular profile measures 750mm wide by 80mm high and projects 80mm from the wall, creating a clean horizontal line of light along the mounting surface.
Designed as task lighting rather than ambient, the Flara suits offices, commercial reception areas, kitchens and workspaces where cool white light improves visibility for reading, detail work or food preparation. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white closer to daylight than warm domestic lighting, reducing eye strain during extended tasks. The light is fixed output and not dimmable, making it best suited to applications where consistent brightness is required throughout operating hours.
The aluminium construction withstands repeated cleaning without discolouration or finish degradation, making the Flara practical for hygiene-sensitive environments such as commercial kitchens or medical consulting rooms. The white powder coat provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with both monochrome and coloured interior schemes. The integrated LED eliminates bulb replacement for approximately 25,000 hours of rated life, reducing maintenance compared to traditional fluorescent battens.
The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from direct water contact. For bathroom or outdoor applications, a higher IP-rated alternative is required. The fixture mounts via two fixing points concealed behind the aluminium housing, with cable entry from the rear.

Frequently Asked
Is the Flara dimmable?
No. The integrated LED operates at fixed output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light is designed for applications where consistent brightness is required, such as offices or commercial spaces.
What is the difference between 4000K and 3000K?
4000K produces a cool white light closer to daylight, which improves visibility for task work such as reading, cooking or detail work. 3000K produces a warmer white closer to traditional incandescent bulbs, which is more common in residential ambient lighting. The Flara's 4000K output is designed for functional spaces rather than relaxation areas.
Can this be used in a bathroom?
Not in wet zones. The IP20 rating limits the Flara to dry indoor locations away from direct water contact. For bathroom installation the fixture would need to be positioned outside zones 0, 1 and 2 as defined in BS 7671 wiring regulations.
How is the Flara mounted?
The fixture mounts via two concealed fixing points behind the aluminium housing, with cable entry from the rear. Installation requires connection to mains wiring and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
