The Flara is a 53cm linear LED wall light with an integrated 23W LED module emitting 4000K cool white light through a white metal housing. The fixture projects 75mm from the wall and delivers direct illumination along its length, making it a task-oriented fitting rather than ambient or decorative.

Designed for kitchens, bathrooms, offices and workshops where bright functional lighting is needed, the Flara mounts horizontally above worktops, mirrors, or desk surfaces. The 4000K colour temperature provides a neutral white light that enhances visibility for detailed work without the yellow cast of warm white or the harsh blue tint of daylight-spectrum LEDs. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas only.

The white metal body is powder-coated for durability and corrosion resistance, with the LED module sealed inside the housing. Is the Flara dimmable?

No. The integrated LED module operates at full output when powered and does not support dimmer switches or variable brightness control.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the Flara is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathroom zones where moisture or direct water contact is possible. For bathrooms it must be installed outside the designated zones, typically above door height or well away from shower enclosures.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is classified as cool white or neutral white. It sits between warm white (2700K-3000K, which has a yellowish tone) and daylight white (5000K-6500K, which has a blueish tone). The 4000K output provides clear, functional light without strong colour bias, making it suitable for task lighting in work areas.

Can the LED module be replaced when it fails?

The LED module is integrated into the housing and not user-replaceable. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty covering the LED module and fixture. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting is typically replaced rather than serviced.
