Description

The Fitzroy is a six light semi-flush ceiling light available in gold or black chrome, built from brass and glass. It measures 498mm across with a 370mm projection, giving it a good presence in a room without hanging low or getting in the way. Each of the six arms takes a G9 lamp, spreading light out across the width of the fitting rather than from a single central point, so the glow feels even rather than concentrated.

A six light semi-flush fitting of this size suits a larger room: a dining room, a bigger hallway or a living room with some height to the ceiling. The spread of six lamps gives an even, ambient light across the room rather than one bright pool, making it a good main light rather than a purely decorative one. Choose gold for a warmer, more traditional feel, or black chrome for something cooler and more contemporary, so the Fitzroy can suit more than one style of room, from a period dining room to a newer, more pared back space.

We finish the Fitzroy in gold or black chrome, and brass and glass give it a good weight either way. Both colourways need only a dry, soft cloth to keep them looking their best, with abrasive cleaners best avoided on both the metal and the glass. It is fully dimmable with compatible dimmable lamps and a suitable dimmer switch, so a room lit by all six lamps can still be brought down to something softer in the evening, and the wider Fitzroy range carries both finishes through if you want to match fittings elsewhere in the home.
