Description

The Firenze is a 2-light wall bracket built from moulded resin finished in white with hand-applied gold leaf accents on the scrollwork, drip trays, central urn and finial details. Two upward-facing candle sleeves hold E14 bulbs (sold separately), each sitting in a gold-trimmed drip tray on a scrolled white arm extending from a central urn-style backplate. The backplate measures 330mm wide and projects 380mm from the wall.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where classical or traditional styling is wanted, the Firenze pairs ambient lighting with decorative presence. The upward bulb orientation casts light onto the ceiling and upper wall, creating reflected wash light rather than direct downlight. The 380mm projection suits walls with sufficient clearance — the fitting works best above console tables, flanking fireplaces, or in wider hallway sections where the projection does not obstruct movement.

The resin construction keeps the weight manageable for plasterboard fixing with appropriate wall anchors, while the moulded detail replicates the look of carved wood or painted metalwork at a fraction of the weight. The resin construction makes the Firenze lighter than a metal equivalent, but secure fixing to plasterboard still requires appropriate cavity anchors or plasterboard fixings rated for the combined weight of the fitting plus bulbs. Fixing to a solid wall or into a stud is preferable where possible.

How far does it stick out from the wall?

The fitting projects 380mm from the wall at its furthest point (the tips of the scrolled arms). This makes it unsuitable for narrow hallways or locations where the projection might obstruct movement. Check the available clearance before installation.
