Description

The Felix is a 46cm LED picture light with an integrated 4.5W 3000K LED housed in a horizontal brass tube, mounted on a rectangular brass backplate with a curved brass arm. The LED sits behind a diffuser within the tube, casting warm white light downward across the surface of a painting, photograph or framed print.

Designed for medium-sized artwork between 40-60cm wide, the Felix mounts directly above the frame on the wall, sitting 180mm proud of the surface. The fixed arm angle directs light down and forward at approximately 30 degrees, which suits traditional oil paintings, acrylics and framed prints hung in living rooms, hallways, home offices and gallery spaces. The 46cm length covers most standard portrait and landscape frames without spill light beyond the edges.

The antique brass finish is a warm golden tone with subtle darkening in the recesses, giving the metal a lived-in appearance that suits both period and contemporary interiors. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor use only. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for approximately 20,000 hours of use. The fitting weighs 0.8kg and requires a wall fixing capable of supporting that load plus the leverage from the 180mm projection.
