This faux rosemary plant brings a touch of the herb garden indoors without any of the upkeep. The foliage is moulded from plastic in soft green tones, with slender needled sprigs that mimic the fine texture and gentle sprawl of real rosemary. It sits in a rounded pot finished with a stone effect, a pale mottled grey surface that reads like natural cast stone and gives the piece a grounded, understated look. At 24x24x24cm it is a compact size, well suited to a kitchen shelf, windowsill or dresser top.

We designed this piece to slot easily into a wide range of settings. It works on a countertop near the hob for a nod to fresh cooking herbs, or grouped with other faux plants on open shelving to build a layered green display. The neutral stone effect pot pairs happily with wooden surfaces, painted cabinetry and pale walls, so it suits farmhouse kitchens and modern flats alike. Set it alongside ceramics and glassware, or let it stand alone as a small burst of colour in a hallway or on a bathroom shelf.

Being faux, there is no watering, pruning or light to worry about, which makes it ideal for spots where a living plant would struggle. The plastic foliage holds its shape and colour and will not shed or wilt. To keep it looking fresh, dust the sprigs now and then with a soft cloth or give them a gentle blast from a hairdryer on a cool setting. The pot wipes clean with a damp cloth.
