Description

The Exility track straight power connector joins two straight sections of Maytoni Exility track, providing continuous DC 48V power across the join. The connector is 13.8cm long and constructed from white plastic, with internal copper conductors rated for the 48V DC current carried by Exility track systems.

Used in track lighting installations where multiple track sections need to run in a straight line across a ceiling or wall, the connector slots into the channel on each track section and locks the electrical contacts together. The white finish matches the Exility white track sections, creating a cohesive run without visible joints from floor level. The connector carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for indoor use in dry environments only.

Installation involves sliding the connector into the end of one track section until the internal contacts engage, then sliding the second track section onto the opposite end of the connector. The plastic housing holds the alignment between track sections and prevents sagging at the join. The 1.8cm height and 1.6cm width match the Exility track profile, so the connector sits flush with the track body once fitted.

Is this connector compatible with other track systems?

No. The Exility connector is designed specifically for Maytoni Exility track and will not fit other manufacturers' track systems. The internal contact layout and track channel dimensions are unique to the Exility range.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector offers no protection against moisture ingress and is suitable for dry indoor environments only. Do not use in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor application.

Does it need to be wired in?

No. The connector is a plug-and-play component that slots into the track sections. The internal copper contacts engage automatically when the track sections are slid onto each end of the connector. No additional wiring is required.

What other finishes are available?

Maytoni produces the Exility track system in white and black. Search for the black version of this connector on the Niori site if you are working with black Exility track.
