Description

The Exility T-connector is a power feed junction for Maytoni's magnetic track lighting system, splitting a single 48V DC supply into three directions at a T-junction. The connector houses the electrical feed point within a black aluminium body measuring 345mm across the longest arm, with magnetic attachment rails on all three output arms to accept Exility track sections or lighting heads.

Used in commercial retail, hospitality and residential spaces where track lighting needs to branch across perpendicular walls or where a room layout requires light distribution in multiple directions from a central ceiling point. The T-connector removes the need for separate power feeds on each track run, simplifying installation where a single mains supply point exists. The 48V DC low-voltage system means the track itself carries safe low voltage rather than mains 230V, reducing shock risk during installation and reconfiguration.

The black powder-coated aluminium finish matches the Exility track system and recedes against dark ceilings or exposed services in industrial-style interiors. What is the voltage and is it compatible with mains wiring?

The Exility system runs on 48V DC low voltage. The T-connector itself does not connect directly to 230V mains supply — it requires a separate Exility power supply/driver unit that steps down from mains to 48V DC. The connector then distributes this low voltage to the three track arms.

Can lighting heads be attached directly to the T-connector?

Yes. The three arms of the T-connector carry the same magnetic rails as standard Exility track sections, so compatible Exility magnetic track heads can clip directly onto any of the three arms without needing additional track sections in between.

What track sections is this compatible with?

The T-connector is designed specifically for the Maytoni Exility magnetic track system. It is not compatible with other manufacturers' track systems or with traditional 3-circuit mains-voltage track lighting.

Is the IP20 rating suitable for bathrooms or kitchens?

IP20 is rated for dry indoor environments only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones 1 or 2, or for locations where it may be exposed to water spray or high humidity. For kitchens, it can be used away from sinks and hobs where direct water contact is unlikely.
