Description

The Eve is a 2-light wall light built on an anthracite-finished metal frame that branches into two arms, each supporting a white fabric shade. The frame takes the form of a curved branch rising from a circular backplate, with the two arms extending outward to hold oval shades approximately 140mm deep and 200mm tall. Each shade is fitted with an E27 lampholder that accepts standard bulbs up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where paired ambient light is needed without overhead fittings, the Eve mounts directly to the wall with the backplate concealing the fixing points. The 390mm overall width and 380mm height suit walls above bedside tables, either side of a fireplace, or in hallways where symmetrical lighting is preferred. The 140mm projection from the wall keeps the shades clear of furniture pushed against the wall while providing enough depth for comfortable bulb replacement.

The white fabric on the shades has a textured crinkle finish that softens and diffuses light from the bulbs inside, reducing glare and spreading illumination evenly across the room. The anthracite finish on the metal frame provides contrast against the white shades and pairs with both warm and cool colour schemes. The fitting weighs 1kg, allowing it to be mounted on plasterboard with appropriate fixings or directly onto masonry or timber studs.

What bulbs does the Eve take?

The fitting uses two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or living room lighting.

Is the Eve dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and pair the circuit with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming, but both the bulbs and the wall dimmer must be rated for the bulb type you choose.

What wall types can it be mounted on?

At 1kg total weight, the Eve can be mounted on plasterboard using appropriate plasterboard fixings, or directly onto masonry or timber studs. The circular backplate is approximately 120mm diameter and conceals the fixing points once installed.

Can the shades be cleaned?

The white fabric shades can be dusted with a soft brush or vacuumed on a low setting using an upholstery attachment. For deeper cleaning, remove the shades from the frame (usually by unscrewing the retaining ring at the base) and spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth. Allow to dry fully before refitting.
