The Mantra Eve is a 2-light wall light built around an anthracite-finished metal frame that branches upward from a single wall-mount backplate, with each arm holding a white fabric shade. The frame resembles a sculptural branch splitting into two stems, each topped with an oval shade measuring approximately 380mm tall and 390mm across. Two E27 bulb holders sit inside the white fabric shades, which diffuse the light evenly outward and downward.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where decorative wall lighting supplements ceiling light, the Eve provides soft ambient light rather than task light. The 140mm projection from the wall suits spaces where the fitting needs to sit close to the wall plane without encroaching into walkways or furniture clearance. The twin-light configuration gives balanced coverage across approximately 1.5-2m of wall width, making it suitable for mounting above sofas, beds, consoles or in alcoves.

The anthracite finish on the metal frame is a dark grey-brown with a low sheen, contrasting with the bright white fabric of the shades. The fabric is backed with a liner to prevent the bulb shape and internal wiring from showing through when the light is on. The frame weighs 1kg and fixes directly to standard UK wall boxes or suitable wall anchors. Is the Eve dimmable?

The fitting itself is dimmable-compatible. To dim it, you need dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer rated for the bulb type you choose. Most dimmable LED E27 bulbs work with trailing-edge dimmers.

What bulb does it take?

The Eve takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. The shades suit standard E27 LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light. Maximum wattage depends on the bulb technology — consult the bulb packaging.

How far does it stick out from the wall?

The projection is 140mm from the wall to the front of the shades. This keeps the fitting close to the wall plane, suitable for hallways and rooms where deeper projection would intrude into walkways or furniture clearance.

Can the shades be replaced?

The white fabric shades are integral to the design. Replacement shades are not sold separately by Mantra, so if a shade is damaged the entire fitting would need replacing.
