Description

The Eustoma is a 16cm pendant light with a ribbed light blue glass shade shaped like a double gourd, suspended from a nickel canopy on a twisted grey cable. The glass is moulded with vertical ribs that run from the narrow neck down through the wider lower section, creating texture that catches light and adds depth to the pale blue tone. The shade houses a single E14 bulb (sold separately) which shows through the translucent glass when lit.

Designed for areas where a compact pendant adds accent lighting without overwhelming the space, the Eustoma suits kitchen islands, dining tables, breakfast bars, hallways and bedside positions. The adjustable cable drop ranges from 30cm to 143cm, allowing the pendant to be set at the appropriate height for the ceiling and furniture below. At 16cm diameter the shade is compact enough to be used singly over a small table or in multiples along a larger island.

The ribbed glass diffuses the light from the bulb, softening direct glare while the blue tint adds a cool accent to the glow. The nickel canopy and twisted cable provide a neutral metallic anchor that pairs with chrome taps, brushed steel appliances and both warm and cool-toned interiors. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry interior rooms only.

What bulb does it take?

The Eustoma takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting, or a clear filament bulb if the decorative bulb will be visible through the glass.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cable length is adjustable between 30cm and 143cm minimum drop. The adjustment is typically done during installation by feeding excess cable into the canopy, but it can be readjusted later if needed by removing the canopy and re-setting the cable length.

Is the glass shade replaceable if damaged?

The ribbed glass shade is a replaceable component. Contact Maytoni or Niori directly for spare parts availability if the shade is damaged.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry interior rooms and must not be used in bathrooms, kitchens directly above sinks or hobs, or any other location where moisture or splashing water is present.
