Description

The Etherlight is a 580mm diameter crystal chandelier with six E14 bulb holders arranged on curved chrome arms, each draped with faceted crystal droplets and chains. The central column features a spherical glass ornament with internal surface detail, topped by a decorative chrome finial and suspended on a chain and fabric-wrapped cable. Each bulb position is fitted with a chrome candle cup and a polished chrome candle sleeve.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the chandelier provides decorative and ambient light when paired with candle-style LED or halogen E14 bulbs (sold separately). The 650mm drop from canopy to base gives clearance over a dining table when hung 700-800mm above the surface, or can be shortened on installation by adjusting the chain and cable within the canopy. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The chrome finish on the metal frame and crystal mounting points reflects both daylight and artificial light, amplifying the effect of the crystal droplets as they catch and refract light across multiple facets. Each crystal element is individually hung on chrome links, allowing slight movement when air circulates in the room. The total weight of the fitting with all crystals attached is approximately 3.5kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced ceiling rose.

The chandelier is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch rated for the total bulb load. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in the frame, crystal mounts and electrical components.
