Description

The Espire Optical Smoke Alarm runs on 230V AC mains power with a replaceable 9V battery for backup, so it keeps working if the mains supply is interrupted. It uses an optical smoke sensor, which responds well to the slow, smouldering fires that can start with soft furnishings and electrical faults.

The alarm supports wired interconnect, letting you link up to 28 devices together. When one alarm detects smoke, the connected alarms sound too, giving everyone in the home earlier warning wherever they are. It is rated to installation Grade D2.

The housing is made from UL94-V0 rated, UV stabilised ABS to help it hold up over time. It measures ø132 x 52mm, keeping a compact profile on the ceiling.
