Description

Approximately 5400 goose feathers form the covering of our Eos Lampshade X-Large, layered over a textile and steel structure so the whole thing keeps its rounded shape while staying remarkably light. It weighs just 0.947kg, which is a small figure for something this large, and we source the feathers to the RDS Standard so you know where they have come from. In White, it reads as a soft, downy cloud rather than a smooth surface, wider than it is tall, with each feather catching a little light along its edge.

At 75cm in diameter and 45cm high, this is the biggest rounded size we offer in the Eos range before the XX-Large, so it needs a bit of room to be seen properly. We think it works best where it can float freely, whether you hang it as a pendant shade over a dining table, sit it on a floor lamp base, or pair it with a generous table lamp. It takes an E27 fitting with a maximum 15W LED, which we do not include, and we would suggest a warm bulb around 2700K so the White feathers glow softly rather than looking stark. Assembly takes roughly 5 minutes, and there is a short video to walk you through fluffing it into shape.

The White colourway is the one we sell on this page, drawn from the same textile references that inform the rest of the range, so the tone stays consistent and clean. We recommend keeping it away from damp, since this is an indoor lampshade and not rated for outdoor use.
