Our Eos Lampshade X-Large is made from approximately 5400 goose feathers gathered layer over layer around a textile and steel structure, finished in a warm Light Brown. Each feather meets the RDS Standard, so we can tell you exactly where our down comes from and how it was sourced. The result is a rounded form, wider than it is tall, with a gently uneven surface that catches and scatters light rather than reflecting it flatly. At 75cm in diameter and 45cm in height, this is one of the larger sizes we range in the Eos series, and it carries real presence while weighing only 0.947kg.

This lampshade works three ways: as a pendant suspended over a dining table or hallway, as a floor shade, or fitted to a table lamp base. It takes an E27 fitting with a maximum 15W LED bulb, which we do not include, and we suggest a warm, low-output bulb so the feathers glow softly. Assembly takes around five minutes and we provide a short video to walk you through it, so there is no guesswork when the feathers unfold from their packing.
