Description

Rounded and softly full, our Eos Lampshade Mini gathers a cloud of feathers into a shade that sits wider than it is tall. It is a gentle, organic form rather than a smooth or perfectly spherical one, and we love the way its Light Rose tone brings a warm, quiet blush to a room. At 20cm high and 35cm in diameter, this Mini size gives you a soft focal point that works over a dining table, beside a reading chair or on a sideboard, without dominating the space around it.

The shade is made from approximately 900 goose feathers layered over a textile and steel structure, so it holds its shape while keeping that light, airy quality we want from it. It weighs just 0.2kg, and the feathers we use meet the RDS Standard, something that matters to us and to many of our customers. You can hang it as a pendant or fit it to a floor or table base, and it is compatible with an E27 fitting taking a maximum 15W LED bulb, which is not included. We recommend a warm, low wattage LED so the light filters softly through the feathers rather than showing through them harshly.

Assembly takes around five minutes, and we provide a short video to guide you through fluffing and settling the feathers into their full rounded form. Handle the shade gently and, from time to time, give it a light shake or a puff of cool air to keep the feathers looking their best. The Light Rose colour pairs happily with pale woods, warm neutrals and brass touches, though we find it just as at home against a deeper wall for a little contrast.
