Description

At 20cm tall with a 35cm diameter, our Mini sits neatly among the smaller sizes in the Eos range, giving you a rounded shape that spreads wider than it stands. It is a lampshade we reach for when a space needs a soft, sculptural touch without much bulk, and at roughly 0.2kg it stays light enough to suit a table lamp base, a floor lamp or a pendant fitting. The Light Brown colour brings a warm, muted tone that settles easily into most rooms, working as well beside a reading chair as it does over a hallway.

Each Mini is made from approximately 900 goose feathers set over a textile and steel structure, so the surface is soft and gently layered rather than smooth or spherical. We source our feathers to the RDS Standard, and the light brown textile core draws on the same reference materials we cite across the range for consistency of tone. When lit, the feathers diffuse the glow into a soft halo, which is why we recommend an E27 bulb rated at a maximum of 15W LED. The bulb is not included, so you can pair us with the warmth and brightness that suits your setting.

Assembly takes around five minutes, and we provide a short video to walk you through fluffing and shaping the feathers so they open into their full rounded form. Because the feathers are delicate, we suggest keeping this lampshade indoors and away from damp, where it will hold its shape for years. If the Mini feels too small for your fitting, the wider Eos range steps up through several sizes, but on its own this one gives us a quiet, tactile piece of lighting that we are happy to keep close at hand.
