Our Eos Lampshade Micro in Light Brown is made from approximately 500 goose feathers gathered onto a textile and steel frame, forming a soft, gently rounded shade that sits wider than it is tall. We source feathers to the RDS Standard, and we love the way each one overlaps its neighbour to build up a full, downy surface that catches and softens the light rather than reflecting it. At 22cm in diameter and 16cm in height, this is the Micro size in our Eos range, weighing just 0.097kg, so it feels light in the hand and easy to position.

The Light Brown colouring gives the feathers a warm, muted tone that settles quietly into a room without demanding attention. Because the shade diffuses light through hundreds of layered feathers, we find it throws a soft glow that works beautifully in the evening, whether you hang it as a pendant, fit it to a floor lamp or set it on a table.
