Rounded and soft, our Eos Lampshade Medium sits wider than it is tall, a gently domed cloud of feathers that catches and diffuses the light rather than throwing it in a hard line. Look closely and you will see it is built from pale, downy goose feathers, layered so the surface is textured and airy rather than smooth or sphere-like. In this Light Rose version, the feathers carry a warm blush tone that lends a quiet softness to a room, and we think it works just as happily in a bedroom as it does over a reading corner.

It is designed to be versatile, so you can use it as a pendant shade, on a floor lamp, or fitted to a table lamp base. It is compatible with E27 fittings and takes a max 15W LED bulb, which we recommend but do not include, so you can choose a warm glow around 2700K to suit the feathers. The Medium measures 30cm in height and 45cm in diameter, and weighs roughly 0.3kg, so it stays light and easy to handle. Assembly is straightforward and takes around five minutes, and we provide a short assembly video to walk you through it. It is made from approximately 1800 goose feathers along with textile and steel, and the feathers meet the RDS Standard, something we take care to hold ourselves to.
