Description

Our Eos lampshade range spans six sizes and six colours, and this is the Medium in Light Grey, one of our most useful in-between options. It gives you the soft, rounded feather form we love without dominating a room the way our larger shades can. Made from approximately 1800 goose feathers set into a textile and steel frame, it reads as a gentle cloud rather than a smooth ball, wider than it is tall, with each feather catching light differently. We hold it to the RDS Standard, so the feathers are responsibly sourced, and at just 0.3kg it stays light and easy to handle.

The Medium measures 45cm in diameter and 30cm in height, which suits a table lamp base, a floor lamp or a pendant fitting, so you can use it as your room needs. It works with an E27 fitting and takes a maximum 15W LED bulb, which we do not include, so you can pick a warm 2700K bulb for a soft glow or something cooler if you prefer. The Light Grey colour is quiet and easy to place, sitting happily against white walls, deeper tones or natural wood, and we find it softens strong daylight during the day and warms a space once the bulb is on.

Assembly takes around five minutes and we provide a short video to walk you through it, so there is no fuss in getting the feathers fixed to the frame. Bulb recommendations are on hand from us if you want a steer on the right fitting and warmth. Whether you hang it low over a dining table, set it beside a reading chair or place it in a bedroom corner, this lampshade brings a calm, textured presence that we think earns its place in almost any home.
