Switch on a lamp beneath our Eos Lampshade Medium and the light softens as it travels through the feathers, spreading a gentle glow rather than a hard beam. This rounded shade sits wider than it is tall, with roughly 1800 goose feathers layered over a textile and steel core so the surface stays full and soft to the eye. The Light Brown tone gives the feathers a warm, natural quality that we find suits both quiet corners and busier rooms, catching the light in a way that changes as you move around it.

At 30cm high and 45cm in diameter, this Medium shade is a versatile size that works across a home. It weighs just 0.3kg, so you can hang it as a pendant, fit it to a floor lamp, or set it on a table lamp base without worrying about strain on the fitting. It takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum 15W LED, which we recommend you choose in a warm tone around 2700K to bring out the depth of the feathers.
