At 23cm high and 50cm wide, our Esther lampshade in the Medium size sits comfortably in the middle of the range, giving a wide flat disc of soft feathers without dominating a room. We reach for this one when the Large feels too big and the Mini too slight, and its 65cm length carries a generous spread of Light Rose feathers that catch and diffuse the light gently. Weighing just 0.62kg, it stays easy to handle and easy to live with, whether you hang it or set it over a lamp base.

Each Esther Medium is built from approximately 2790 goose feathers, textile and steel, and the feathers meet the RDS Standard, so you can trust their sourcing. The soft Light Rose tone comes from the textile covering, a single finish on this lampshade rather than a choice you make here. The feathers give it a light, airy body that reads as delicate up close and full from across the room. Because it is a lampshade and not a fixed fitting, it is designed to be versatile: use it as a pendant, floor or table lampshade, and pair it with an E27 bulb to suit your setup.
