Envision Large 1 Light Pendant - Black

The Envision Large is a 465mm diameter black metal pendant light with a stepped bell profile and a white-painted interior diffuser. The pendant houses a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) and directs light downward through the 485mm-deep shade, concentrating output onto worktops, dining tables or bar surfaces below.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining areas and workspaces where directed task light is needed, the Envision hangs on a black cable from a ceiling rose and can be shortened during installation to suit the ceiling height. The stepped profile — a narrow cylindrical collar meeting a wider bell body — references industrial factory pendants but scales the proportions for domestic use. The white interior reflects and diffuses the bulb output while the black exterior absorbs ambient light, keeping the fitting visually recessive when switched off.

The all-metal construction in powder-coated steel gives the pendant durability in high-use areas and reduces the risk of UV-related discolouration over time compared to plastic equivalents. What bulb does it take?

The Envision Large uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a 10-15W warm white LED for dining or kitchen task lighting, or a decorative filament bulb where the bulb is visible from some angles.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, the fitting itself is dimmable-compatible. Dimming performance depends on pairing a dimmable E27 LED bulb with a suitable dimmer switch — check the bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before installation.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 485mm shade depth plus cable length means the Envision Large works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. The pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above a dining table or kitchen worktop, which requires clearance underneath.

Can multiple Envision pendants be hung together?

Yes. For kitchen islands or long dining tables, hang two or three Envision Large pendants spaced 600-800mm apart along the length. This gives even task lighting coverage without creating shadows between the fittings.
