The Energizer Extreme AA HR6 is a 2300mAh nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery supplied pre-charged in a 4-pack. Each cell delivers 1.2V nominal voltage and can be recharged up to 1000 times, reducing the long-term cost per use compared to single-use alkaline batteries. The batteries arrive charged and ready to use immediately after opening the pack.

Designed for high-drain devices that cycle through batteries quickly, the Extreme range suits digital cameras, handheld GPS units, gaming controllers, wireless computer peripherals, and cordless phones. The 2300mAh capacity provides extended run-time between charges compared to lower-capacity NiMH cells. The batteries can be recharged in any compatible NiMH charger rated for AA cells.
