Description

The Energizer Extreme AA HR6 is a 2300mAh nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery supplied pre-charged in a 4-pack. Each cell delivers 1.2V nominal voltage and can be recharged up to 1000 times, reducing the long-term cost per use compared to single-use alkaline batteries. The batteries arrive charged and ready to use immediately after opening the pack.

Designed for high-drain devices that cycle through batteries quickly, the Extreme range suits digital cameras, handheld GPS units, gaming controllers, wireless computer peripherals, and cordless phones. The 2300mAh capacity provides extended run-time between charges compared to lower-capacity NiMH cells. The batteries can be recharged in any compatible NiMH charger rated for AA cells.

NiMH chemistry holds charge better than older nickel-cadmium (NiCd) rechargeable batteries and does not suffer from memory effect, meaning the cells can be topped up at any state of charge without degrading capacity over time. The Energizer Extreme range is manufactured using 15% recycled materials and performs across a temperature range suitable for both indoor and outdoor equipment.

Each battery measures 50mm in length and 14.5mm in diameter, matching the standard AA form factor. The pack weighs 120g total and stores compactly in a device bag or toolbox.
