Description

The Ecliptus is a white plastic linear connector for joining two LED strip sections end-to-end without soldering. The connector measures 15mm long by 17mm wide and uses a hinged cover that clips over metal contact pins to secure the strip ends in place. The pins inside the connector maintain electrical contact between the two strip sections, allowing current to pass through.

Designed for LED strip installations where a straight run needs to continue across a corner, around an obstacle, or through a junction box, the connector provides a faster alternative to soldering joints. The hinged cover opens to reveal two contact channels, each strip end slides into one side, and the cover clips down to lock both strips against the pins. No tools are required for fitting, though a sharp blade may be needed to expose the copper pads on the LED strip ends before insertion.

The white plastic body sits flush against most ceiling and wall surfaces when fitted, keeping the connection point low-profile within the strip run. The 15mm length is short enough to fit inside standard aluminium LED strip channels without blocking the diffuser cover. The connector is rated for indoor use and suits most single-colour and RGB LED strips with standard 8mm or 10mm widths, though compatibility should be checked against the specific strip model before purchase.
