Description

The Easy Floor is a metal reading lamp with an angled head housing an integrated LED, finished in white. A thin metal stem rises from a circular weighted base, terminating in a head that directs light downwards at approximately 45 degrees to create a focused reading pool. The integrated LED delivers warm 3000K light and cannot be replaced when it reaches end-of-life.

Designed for positioning next to armchairs, sofas or bedside tables where direct task lighting is needed, the Easy Floor functions as a reading light rather than ambient lighting. The 2.5m cable allows the lamp to be placed away from wall sockets, and the circular base keeps the slim stem stable on carpets and hard floors. The angled head is fixed and does not adjust, so position determines where the light falls.

The white powder-coated metal finish gives the Easy Floor a clean appearance that pairs with light-toned interiors, Scandinavian schemes and modern minimalist rooms. At approximately 1.2m tall with a 220mm base diameter, the lamp has a compact footprint that suits smaller spaces where a traditional floor lamp would dominate. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

Is the Easy Floor dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at fixed brightness on mains power and is not compatible with dimmer switches or controls.

Can the light direction be adjusted?

No. The angled head is fixed at approximately 45 degrees from vertical. Light direction is controlled by positioning the entire lamp rather than adjusting the head.

What happens when the LED fails?

The LED is integrated and cannot be replaced. When the LED reaches end-of-life the entire lamp would need to be replaced. Ideal Lux LED modules typically have a rated lifespan of 20,000-30,000 hours.

What size space does the base require?

The circular base is 220mm in diameter. Allow approximately 250-300mm of floor space to accommodate the base and prevent tipping when placed next to furniture.
