Description

The Easy Floor is a matt black metal floor lamp from Ideal Lux with a thin adjustable arm and an integrated 3000K LED at the head. The arm extends approximately 490mm from the base and bends at a single hinge, allowing the LED head to be positioned over a reading chair, desk edge or side table. The circular base measures 220mm diameter and sits directly on the floor without assembly.

Designed as a reading and task lamp rather than ambient lighting, the Easy Floor suits bedside positions where a bedside table is not available, armchair corners, home office desks and study areas. The 120mm height places the arm attachment low to the ground, so the lamp works best in smaller spaces where a full-height floor lamp would dominate. The 2500mm cable allows flexible positioning relative to wall sockets.

The matt black metal finish has a smooth powder-coat that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping the lamp visually quiet in daylight. The integrated 3000K LED is non-replaceable and draws low wattage from mains, removing the need for bulb changes or dimmer compatibility. The IP20 rating limits the lamp to dry indoor use only. Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

No. The LED is integrated into the lamp head and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covers LED failure during normal use.

Is the arm height adjustable?

The arm pivots at a single hinge point approximately 120mm above the base, allowing the head to be angled towards a reading position. The base height itself is fixed and cannot be raised or lowered.

What colour temperature does the LED give?

The integrated LED is rated at 3000K, which produces a warm white light similar to a traditional halogen or incandescent bulb. It is not colour-adjustable or tunable.

Is this suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the lamp is designed for dry indoor environments only and should not be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area where moisture is present.
