Description

The Durban is a 65cm linear LED wall light built around a hollow rectangular frame in white-painted metal, with an integrated 20W LED strip running along one inner edge. The LED casts 1550 lumens of 3000K warm white light at a 60° beam angle, directing the light outward across the wall surface rather than into the room, creating a soft wash of ambient illumination.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms where wall-washing ambient light is needed without glare, the Durban can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on wall space and the direction of light required. The 650mm height paired with a narrow 60mm width and 120mm projection gives the fitting a slimline profile that sits close to the wall without dominating the space. The white finish integrates cleanly with painted walls in contemporary interiors.

The open rectangular geometry means the light source is visible from the side, so the fitting works best on walls where it will be viewed from the front or at an angle rather than end-on. The 20W LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 230V mains via a mains-rated driver housed inside the backplate. At 1.26kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard fixing with appropriate wall plugs and fixings (not supplied).
