Dune Wide 3-Phase LED Linear Track Light 40W 4000K - White, 1125mm

The Dune Wide is a 1125mm linear track light with an integrated 40W LED module casting 4000K neutral white light through a recessed linear diffuser. The aluminium housing in white finish mounts to standard 3-phase track systems, allowing the fitting to be positioned anywhere along the track run and powered from any of the three circuits independently.

Designed for commercial offices, retail showrooms, galleries and hospitality spaces where continuous runs of light are needed across worksurfaces, display walls or circulation routes, the Dune Wide provides even light distribution along its length without visible hotspots. The 3-phase compatibility means multiple fittings can be installed on the same track but controlled separately, giving zone-by-zone switching across different areas. The 31mm height and 32mm projection keep the fitting close to the ceiling plane, working in spaces with 2.4m-2.7m ceiling heights without intruding into sightlines.

The white powder-coated aluminium housing reflects ceiling light and blends into white or light-neutral ceilings, giving visual continuity across large installations. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor environments. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and fixed at 4000K, which sits between the warmer 3000K domestic standard and the cooler 5000K daylight-replication often used in warehouses, making it suitable for general commercial and retail lighting where colour accuracy matters but warmth is not the priority.

What is 3-phase track and do I need it?

3-phase track contains three separate electrical circuits running in parallel within the track rail. Each circuit can be switched independently, allowing different zones or groups of fittings to be controlled separately. If your installation requires zone-by-zone lighting control without running multiple separate track runs, 3-phase is the solution. Standard single-circuit track will not work with this fitting.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 40W LED module is integrated into the housing and cannot be replaced as a user-serviceable part. The LED is rated for 50,000 hours at full output, equivalent to approximately 11 years of continuous use or 20+ years on a typical commercial 8-hour daily cycle.

Can it be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating means the fitting has no moisture protection and is suitable only for dry indoor environments. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or areas subject to steam or water spray. For commercial kitchens or food prep areas, an IP65-rated alternative is required.

What colour is 4000K and is it suitable for retail?

4000K is neutral white, sitting between the warm 3000K used in homes and the cool 5000K daylight-replication used in warehouses. It provides accurate colour rendering without the yellow cast of warmer LEDs, making it suitable for retail environments where product colour accuracy matters, particularly for clothing, cosmetics and electronics.
