Description

The Dune UGR is a 535mm linear track light with an integrated 14W LED delivering 4000K neutral white light through a low-glare diffuser panel. The black aluminium housing measures 71mm high by 32mm deep and mounts onto standard 3-phase track systems, allowing the fitting to be positioned and repositioned along the track run without re-wiring.

Designed for offices, retail display lighting, gallery walls and commercial interiors where glare control matters, the UGR optics reduce reflections on screens and glossy surfaces while maintaining even light distribution along the 535mm length. The 3-phase track compatibility means multiple Dune fittings can be grouped onto separate circuits for zoned control, or run on a single circuit if zoning is not required. The compact 32mm projection keeps the fitting close to the ceiling, suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

The LED is non-dimmable and rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. The black powder-coated aluminium finish resists scratching and provides a neutral backdrop that recedes visually against dark ceilings or contrasts cleanly against white ceilings. At 535mm the Dune suits accent lighting over desks, shelving runs, narrow corridors and zones where a short linear fitting is needed rather than a full-length batten. What does UGR mean and why does it matter?

UGR stands for Unified Glare Rating. A low UGR means the light diffuses evenly without creating bright spots or reflections that cause eye strain. This matters in offices, retail and galleries where people look at screens or examine products under the light for extended periods.

What is 3-phase track and do I need it?

3-phase track has three separate circuits running through the track rail, allowing different fittings to be controlled independently. If you only need all lights on one switch, the Dune can be wired to a single phase. If you want zoned control, the 3-phase system lets you group fittings onto separate circuits without running additional track.

Can this be used in a bathroom or kitchen?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is for dry indoor use only, away from direct water exposure. It is not suitable for bathrooms, shower rooms or zones directly above hobs or sinks where steam and moisture are present.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 50,000+ hours, which translates to over 20 years of typical commercial use before significant lumen depreciation occurs.
