Description

The Dune is a 1065mm linear track light with an integrated 28W 4000K LED strip housed inside a white aluminium body. The fitting mounts to 3-phase track systems via an adapter at one end, allowing it to be positioned anywhere along the track run and connected to one of three independent circuits for zoned control.

Designed for commercial and residential spaces that need continuous linear illumination without visible bulb points, the Dune suits retail aisles, gallery walls, office corridors and kitchen worktops where task lighting runs parallel to a work surface or display. The 4000K neutral white colour temperature provides balanced visibility for work environments without the yellow cast of warm white or the clinical tone of cool white. The 3-phase adapter allows multiple Dune units on the same track to be controlled separately, so sections can be switched independently depending on which areas of the room are in use.

The aluminium body measures 43mm high and projects 32mm from the track, giving a low-profile appearance suitable for spaces with ceiling heights below 2.4m. The white finish pairs with white ceilings to reduce visual contrast, making the fitting less obtrusive when the LED is switched off. The IP20 rating limits the Dune to dry indoor environments only.

What track system does the Dune fit?

The Dune is designed for 3-phase track systems. The adapter at one end of the fitting clips into the track and connects to one of three independent circuits, allowing zoned control when multiple fittings are installed on the same track run.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED strip is integrated into the aluminium body and is not designed to be user-replaceable. The LED is rated for long-term use, with typical LED lifespans exceeding 30,000 hours.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The Dune does not support dimming. If dimming is required, consider specifying a dimmable track light from the Ideal Lux range or contact us for recommendations.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm white (2700K-3000K) and cool white (5000K-6500K). It provides balanced visibility for work tasks without the yellow cast of warm white or the clinical tone of daylight-equivalent bulbs.
