Description

The Dune is a 535mm linear track light with an integrated 14W 3000K LED inside a white powder-coated aluminium body, designed for 3-phase track systems. The fitting projects 32mm from the track with a 71mm height, providing a low-profile presence that directs light along the length of the bar rather than from a single point source.

Suited to retail display lighting, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and office task lighting, the Dune fits standard 3-phase track rails and can be positioned, moved or grouped with other fixtures without re-wiring. The 3-phase compatibility allows separate control of different sections of the same track run, so lighting zones can be switched or dimmed independently where a compatible control system is in place. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

The white aluminium body pairs with white or light-toned ceilings to reduce visual contrast, while the 3000K warm-white LED output provides colour rendering suitable for retail displays, artwork and food presentation. The 14W output gives approximately 1,400 lumens depending on the specific LED configuration, comparable to a 100W halogen equivalent but drawing less than one-seventh of the power. What is 3-phase track compatibility?

3-phase track systems have three separate electrical circuits running through the same track rail. Fixtures can be assigned to different circuits during installation, allowing independent control of different lighting zones on the same physical track. This requires a 3-phase track rail and compatible control system.

Is the Dune dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver is not compatible with dimmer switches. The fitting operates at full 14W output when powered.

Can it be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating limits the Dune to dry indoor environments away from direct water contact. It can be used in kitchens away from sinks and hobs, but is not suitable for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2 as defined by BS 7671 wiring regulations.

What track system does it fit?

The Dune fits standard 3-phase track rails. Confirm compatibility with your specific track manufacturer before ordering, as adapter clips may be required for some proprietary track systems.
