Made from oak, MDF and steel, our Duende Desk brings together warm wood and quiet structure in a piece we return to again and again. The softly shaped top is finished in Black Oak, a deep tone that settles easily into a working corner or a bedroom nook. We like how the top carries a gentle curve rather than a hard rectangle, softening the whole outline and giving your hands room to rest at the front edge. At 130cm wide and 67.1cm deep, there is space for a laptop, a notebook and a table lamp base without anything feeling crowded.

Under the front edge sits a shallow drawer, useful for the small things that otherwise wander across a desk: pens, chargers, a stray notepad. The four tapered legs lift the whole desk cleanly off the floor, keeping the look light despite the solid feel underfoot. Standing 74cm tall, it sits at a comfortable working height for most chairs, and the steel within the frame gives us confidence in its stability. The top takes a maximum load of 120kg when weight is spread evenly across the surface, so a monitor, a stack of books and a lamp are all well within its stride.
