Description

The Drape is a 60cm outdoor bollard light with a cylindrical grey powder-coated steel column and a frosted polycarbonate diffuser at the top. The single GU10 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) sits inside the diffuser, casting downward and radial light across pathways, patios and garden borders. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water and small solid objects, making the bollard suitable for exposed garden positions.

Designed for pathway marking, patio edge lighting and driveway illumination, the 60cm height provides ground-level visibility without glare at eye level when walking. The bollard mounts onto a level concrete, paving or decking base via a circular fixing plate at the bottom, with three fixing holes for screws or bolts. The steel construction withstands typical UK weather conditions and the grey finish integrates with contemporary, minimalist and industrial outdoor schemes.

The 120mm diameter column keeps the bollard proportionate to smaller gardens and courtyard patios where taller or wider bollards would dominate. Is it weatherproof?

The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction and solid objects larger than 1mm. This makes the bollard suitable for open garden positions, patios and pathways. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it will sit in standing water.

How is it mounted?

The bollard mounts via a circular fixing plate at the base with three fixing holes. It can be screwed or bolted to concrete, paving slabs or decking. The base must be level for the column to stand vertically.

Can it be used with a dimmer switch?

Yes, the Drape is dimmable when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not dim and may flicker if connected to a dimmer circuit.
