Description

The Drape is a 3 light island suspension built around a rectangular black metal frame measuring 650mm long by 290mm high by 170mm deep. Three E27 bulb holders hang in a line inside the open frame, suspended on adjustable chain from a matching black ceiling plate. The frame is open on all four sides, leaving the bulbs visible and allowing light to spread sideways as well as downwards.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and workbenches where task and ambient light are both needed, the 650mm length suits islands and tables between 1.2m and 1.8m long. The suspension is typically hung 700-800mm above a worktop or dining surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The chain is adjustable on installation to set the correct drop height for the specific room.

The black metal frame is welded at the corners and powder-coated to resist fingerprints and kitchen grease. The rectangular profile gives a structured, industrial appearance that pairs well with concrete worktops, exposed brick, steel fixtures and reclaimed timber. The three E27 fittings accept any standard Edison screw LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose bulb style, colour temperature and brightness. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
