This is a natural table lamp that pairs matt black metalwork with a handmade shade in natural linen and bamboo. It stands 335mm tall with a 215mm diameter shade, so it is a compact light with plenty of texture. The Daneshaw takes a single E27 screw-fit bulb, and the woven shade filters the light into a soft, warm glow that shows off its natural materials.

It suits a bedroom, living room or hallway where you want to bring a little of the outdoors inside. The mix of black and natural tones is easy to place, sitting well in relaxed, nature-led rooms as well as more pared-back schemes. At just 0.7kg it is light and easy to move between rooms or reposition on a shelf, console or bedside table. The bamboo and linen shade gives a gentle, diffused light rather than a bright task beam, so it is a lamp for atmosphere and warmth in the evening, working nicely beside a sofa or reading chair.

The metalwork is finished in matt black, and the natural linen and bamboo shade sits above an inline on/off switch on the 1.5 metre black fabric flex. It takes one E27 bulb up to 10W, and as a Class 2 double-insulated, IP20 indoor fitting it needs no earth connection and should be kept away from water. Dust the woven shade gently and keep it dry, and wipe the black metalwork with a soft dry cloth.
