Description

This is a portable, USB rechargeable table lamp designed for outdoor evenings, finished in matt black with a white polycarbonate diffuser. It stands 240mm tall on a 150mm square base and has a neat carry handle, so you can lift it to wherever the light is needed. The Danedon runs on a built-in 3.15W LED that gives 350 lumens of warm white 3000K light, with a touch dimmer offering three brightness levels.

It suits a garden table, balcony, patio or summerhouse, and because it charges over USB there are no cables to trip over once it is placed. The IP44 rating means it resists splashes and light rain, so it is happy in covered outdoor spots as well as indoors. Being cordless and light at 1.1kg, it moves easily from a dining table to a windowsill or shelf, making it handy for warm evenings and for extra light where a socket is not close by. The white diffuser softens the LED so the light stays gentle and ambient rather than harsh.

The body is corrosion-resistant aluminium finished in matt black, topped with a white diffuser, and a 1 metre USB charging cable is included. The touch dimmer steps through three light levels at a tap, and the integrated LED means there are no bulbs to buy or replace. As an IP44-rated fitting it copes with splashes and short showers, though it is best brought in during heavy or prolonged rain. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth to keep it clean, and recharge it over USB when the light dims. It gives a warm, portable glow wherever you set it down.
