Description
The Dallas is a 25-light suspension fitting built around a gold-finished metal frame measuring 69cm in diameter, from which 25 amber-tinted glass globes radiate outward in a branching arrangement. Each globe houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately), with the amber glass filtering and diffusing the light into a warm golden cast across the room.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and larger living areas with ceiling heights of 2.8m or above, the Dallas provides both ambient and decorative function. The suspension drop is adjustable between a minimum of 23.8cm and a maximum of 135.4cm, allowing the fitting to be set higher for hallways with traffic underneath or lower for positioning 700-900mm above a dining table. The linear branching frame spreads the light sources across the full 69cm width, distributing illumination more evenly than a clustered arrangement.
The gold finish on the metal frame is a warm tone that pairs with brass, copper and warm wood interiors, while the amber-tinted glass globes reduce the visual harshness of bare G9 bulbs and add a warm glow to the light output. The IP20 rating limits the Dallas to dry indoor environments only. The combined weight of the metal frame and 25 glass globes requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or rated ceiling rose capable of supporting the total load.
Each of the 25 G9 sockets accepts bulbs up to 28W, giving flexibility to choose LED equivalents at lower wattages (typically 3-5W LED per socket) or halogen bulbs where the warmer incandescent-style output is preferred. The total light output scales with bulb choice, from approximately 6,000-8,000 lumens with mid-range warm-white LEDs to higher outputs with brighter bulbs.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Dallas take?
The Dallas takes 25 x G9 bulbs, each rated up to 28W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3-5W per socket, giving a combined output of approximately 6,000-8,000 lumens across all 25 globes.
What ceiling height is needed?
The drop is adjustable between 23.8cm and 135.4cm. For a dining table the fitting typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.8m. Entrance halls with higher ceilings can use a longer drop to fill vertical space.
Can it be dimmed?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen. G9 LED bulbs marked as dimmable will work with compatible dimmer switches, but non-dimmable LEDs or halogen bulbs may flicker or fail to dim smoothly. Check bulb specifications before pairing with a dimmer.
How is the amber glass cleaned?
Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully. Wipe each glass globe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid spraying liquid directly onto the globes or the metal frame.
