Description
The Dallas is a 20 light semi-flush ceiling light with smoked glass globes arranged on a matt black metal frame in a molecular branching pattern. Each globe houses a G9 bulb fitting, and the entire structure sits 25cm below the ceiling rose with a 75cm diameter footprint. The smoked glass softens and diffuses light from the bulbs while retaining visibility of the light source inside each sphere.
Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and master bedrooms with standard ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m, the Dallas provides ambient and decorative lighting across medium to large rooms of 20-30m². The 25cm drop suits spaces where a full pendant would hang too low but a flush-mount would lack presence. The branching arm structure spreads light across multiple directions, reducing harsh shadows and providing more even room coverage than a single-point pendant.
The matt black frame contrasts with the translucent smoked grey glass, which appears lighter when the bulbs are on and darker when off. The molecular arrangement of the globes — clustered in groups of varying density along the branching arms — gives the fitting asymmetry and visual movement when viewed from different angles in the room. At 75cm diameter the Dallas requires adequate ceiling space away from walls and ceiling-mounted fixtures, and works best centred over a dining table, in the middle of a living room, or above a bed where its width can be appreciated.
The metal construction and IP20 rating limit the Dallas to dry indoor environments. The G9 bulb fittings accept capsule-style bulbs up to 28W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen, or lower-wattage options depending on the desired brightness and warmth. The smoked glass is smooth on the exterior and can be wiped clean with a dry microfibre cloth.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Dallas take?
The Dallas uses 20 x G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 28W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this fitting with G9 LED capsules between 2-4W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light, though halogen G9 bulbs are also compatible.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 25cm drop from ceiling to lowest point suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with 2.7m+ ceilings the Dallas retains adequate clearance overhead while still providing presence. The 75cm diameter requires at least 30-40cm clearance from walls when ceiling-mounted.
Is the smoked glass dark when the lights are off?
Yes. The smoked glass appears darker grey when the bulbs are off and becomes lighter and more translucent when lit. The glass remains semi-opaque even when lit, so the bulb filament or LED chip inside each globe is visible but softened.
How is the glass cleaned?
Wipe the exterior of each glass globe with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the glass or allowing moisture to enter the bulb fittings. Do not use household sprays or abrasive cleaners on the smoked glass.
