Dalia LED Flush Ceiling Light 48W 3000K - Gold & Black

The Dalia is a 500mm square flush ceiling light built around two layered geometric frames — an outer gold square plate and an inner suspended black frame — with integrated 48W LED modules between them. The LED sits within the structure rather than behind it, casting 3000K warm white light across both the gold surface above and the black frame below, while directing 3360lm downward into the room.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower where a pendant would hang too low, the Dalia's 75mm overall projection makes it suitable for hallways, bedrooms, low-ceilinged living rooms and modern kitchens. The layered square construction creates a geometric focal point without dropping into the usable headroom. The gold finish on the upper plate reflects warm light back onto the ceiling plane, visually lifting the ceiling height, while the black inner frame provides tonal contrast and defines the light aperture.

The stepped composition gives the fitting a three-dimensional presence when viewed from an angle, with the black frame sitting approximately 30-40mm below the gold base plate. This offset creates shadow lines during daylight and accentuates the geometric layering when the LED is on. The 500mm square footprint suits rooms of 12-18m² as primary lighting or larger rooms where it functions as accent lighting over a dining table or kitchen island. The gold finish is a brushed warm gold rather than polished, reducing glare and pairing well with brass hardware, warm timber and neutral walls.

The integrated LED runs on 220-240V mains with no separate driver box required — wiring terminates inside the ceiling void behind the gold plate. The fitting is not dimmable. Is the Dalia suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 75mm projection from the ceiling, the Dalia is designed specifically for flush mounting in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower where pendant lights would intrude into headroom. The gold upper plate reflects light back onto the ceiling, helping to visually lift the ceiling plane.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The 48W LED runs at fixed brightness on standard 220-240V mains switching only.

What room size does it suit?

The 3360lm output suits rooms of approximately 12-18m² as primary lighting (bedrooms, hallways, small living rooms). In larger rooms the Dalia works as accent or zone lighting over a dining table, kitchen island or seating area rather than sole illumination.

What fixing is required for the 3.7kg weight?

The fitting must be screwed into a ceiling joist, solid ceiling or reinforced mounting point. Plasterboard alone will not support the 3.7kg weight safely. If the ceiling is plasterboard on timber joists, locate a joist or install a ceiling mounting plate between joists before fitting.
