Cumbuco II 650mm Round CCT LED Flush Ceiling Light 50W - Light Brown Wood Effect

The Cumbuco II is a 650mm diameter flush ceiling light with an integrated 50W CCT LED producing 3200lm through an opal acrylic diffuser, encased in a light brown wood-effect band. The CCT function allows switching between three colour temperatures, 2700K extra warm white, 3300K warm white and 4000K cool white, using a wall switch sequence, giving flexibility to match different times of day or room uses without changing bulbs or fittings.

Designed for rooms with low or standard ceiling heights where a pendant would intrude, the 70mm profile sits close to the ceiling while the 650mm diameter provides sufficient spread for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms up to approximately 20m². The wide 145° beam angle distributes light evenly across the ceiling plane, reducing harsh shadows and creating ambient rather than directional illumination. The opal diffuser hides the LED panel inside, presenting a uniform glow with no visible hotspots or individual diodes.

The light brown wood-effect band wraps the circular perimeter, adding warmth and a natural material reference without the weight or maintenance of solid timber. The finish pairs well with Scandinavian, mid-century and contemporary interiors where wood tones are present in flooring, furniture or joinery. The acrylic diffuser is impact-resistant and lighter than glass, making the fitting easier to install on plasterboard ceilings without additional bracing. How do I change the colour temperature?

The CCT function is controlled by the wall switch. Turn the light off, wait 2 seconds, then turn it back on to cycle to the next colour temperature setting. Repeat to move between 2700K, 3300K and 4000K. The light remembers the last setting used.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 70mm projection from the ceiling makes it well-suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or lower, where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would hang too low. The flush mount keeps headroom clear while providing wide ambient coverage.

What room size does it suit?

The 650mm diameter and 3200lm output suit rooms up to approximately 20m² (around 4m x 5m). For larger spaces, consider pairing with a second Cumbuco II or supplementing with task lighting where needed.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED has a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours, which equates to over 10 years of typical domestic use at 6 hours per day.
