Description

The Crown is a flexible LED reading wall light with a matt black aluminium arm extending from a rectangular backplate, housing an integrated 3000K LED in the conical head. The silicone-coated arm bends and holds position, allowing the light to be directed towards a reading position, a headboard, or angled downwards as accent lighting on a feature wall.

Designed for bedside reading, hallway task lighting and accent applications, the Crown mounts directly to the wall via a rectangular 60mm x 185mm backplate and projects approximately 185mm from the wall when the arm is fully extended. The compact footprint suits tight spaces above bedside tables, narrow hallways and alcoves where a traditional swing-arm reading light would be impractical. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulb purchases and replacements.

The matt black aluminium finish provides a low-sheen surface that minimises reflections under daylight and pairs with contemporary, industrial and Scandinavian interiors. The silicone coating over the flexible arm gives a soft tactile finish and allows the arm to be repositioned regularly without metal fatigue or loosening joints. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

Is the Crown dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at full output on standard 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

How adjustable is the arm?

The silicone-coated flexible arm bends into position and holds that position without a locking mechanism. The arm can be repositioned as often as needed without wearing out the bend mechanism, making it suitable for regular adjustment between reading and ambient positions.

What colour temperature is the LED?

The integrated LED produces warm white light at 3000K, which sits between soft white and neutral white on the colour temperature spectrum. This temperature suits bedside reading and creates a warm ambient tone in hallways and living spaces.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Crown to dry indoor environments only. It is not rated for moisture exposure and should not be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms or other wet areas.
