This is a solar powered table lamp with an open metal cage, finished in matt black, that adds light and atmosphere to the garden. It stands 270mm tall with a 210mm diameter and runs on a built-in 4.3W LED giving 300 lumens of warm white 3000K light. The Cranwood charges by day through a solar panel and comes on automatically at dusk, with the caged sides casting a patterned glow across a table or path.

It suits a garden table, decking, patio or porch, and can be stood on a surface or hung from a tree or hook thanks to its shape. Because it is solar charged there are no running costs and no cable to route outdoors, so you can place it freely wherever you want a soft evening light. The IP44 rating means it withstands splashes and light rain, making it suited to open and covered outdoor spots alike. At 1.4kg it is stable on a table yet still easy to move around the garden as the seasons change.

The frame is matt black painted metal with an integrated LED, and a photocell sensor switches it on at dusk and off at dawn, alongside an on/off push switch. There are no bulbs to buy, as the LED is built in and topped up by the solar panel during daylight. As an IP44-rated fitting it copes with splashes and short showers outdoors. Keep the solar panel clear of dust and leaves so it charges well, and wipe the cage with a soft dry cloth. It gives a warm, free-to-run glow that brings a garden to life after dark.
