Description

The Cranwick is a cordless rechargeable table lamp with a reeded brass stem set on a square base, made to be picked up and placed wherever the light is needed. Its touch dimmer has three stages, stepping through 40, 80 and 155 lumens so you can drop it to a gentle bedside level or bring it up for reading. The lamp stands 414mm tall on a 160mm base, weighs 0.8kg, and uses a 1.5W integrated LED with a warm white 2700K tone. Brushed aged brass plating gives the stem its mellow finish.

Free of any trailing flex, it settles easily onto shelving, a hallway table, a bedside or a dining table, and can be carried between them through the day. From a single 5.5-hour charge it runs for up to 36 hours, recharging through the included USB-C to USB-A cable when it finally runs low. The reeded classic base has a traditional feel that works in period homes, while the soft white shade keeps it light enough for calmer, more contemporary rooms and lets it settle into most colour schemes.

This version is topped with a 16cm Ivy shade in vintage white cotton-mix fabric, finished by hand with a contrasting almond white taped edge and a tapered shape that spreads the light softly. The shade clips on and the 3.7V rechargeable battery is fitted from the start. Wipe the brass and fabric with a dry, soft cloth and keep the lamp out of damp conditions.
